Canal+ is beta testing an OTT version of its digital bouquet Canalsat.

A number of subscribers are reported to have received a dedicated version of the OTT-enabled “Cube” STB to access Canalsat channels via the Internet directly to their TV. The Cube STB must be connected to a DTT antenna in order to receive all the FTA channels.

The cube is Canalsat’s play to reduce its dependence on traditional platform distribution.
