The Ukrainian public broadcaster (UTR – Ukrainian Television and Radio) and Turkish VTV Antalya TV channels have become available through the Azerbaijani Azerspace/Africasat-1a satellite, the Azerbaijani Ministry Communications and Information Technologies has confirmed.
Over 50 TV channels are broadcasted via the satellite, around 8 of which are local (AzTV, ITV, CBC, Xəzər TV, ANS TV, Mədəniyyət TV, Idman Azərbaycan, Azad Azərbaycan TV). The TV channels currently include standard and live broadcast via Azerspace/Africasat-1a satellite. Alongside with TV channels, radio channels are also broadcasted via the satellite.
