Ginola signs for BT Sport
August 8, 2013
David Ginola is to join the BT Sport football team. The ex-Spurs and Newcastle winger Ginola, 46, who won also 17 caps for France, will co-present and be a football expert across the channels’ live football coverage, including the Barclays Premier League, FA Cup with Budweiser and European football, particularly French Ligue 1.
Ginola’s experience will bolster BT Sport’s roster of football experts, including ex-England stars Michael Owen, David James, Steve McManaman and Owen Hargreaves.
Since retiring, he has worked extensively as a football pundit, notably for the BBC, CNN and Al Jazeera. Last season, he was the lead football consultant for Orange’s coverage in France of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2.
