London Live, the 24-hour multimedia platform for London, has appointed Jonathan Boseley as Head of Programming, ahead of its launch early next year.
Boseley, the former Vice-President of Programming and Production for Disney Channels, UK and Ireland, enjoyed a 15-year career at Disney in various programming and channel manager positions and has in-depth experience of both youth programming and non-linear platforms.
Boseley commented: “London Live is a rare opportunity to create a fresh, vibrant new kind of multi-platform TV channel for such a great city. I’m incredibly excited to be joining this ambitious and challenging venture. Londoners truly deserve a TV channel that reflects their city and their lives on a daily basis, and that captures all the excitement, the buzz and the energy that makes London unique.”
London Live has also confirmed the appointment of Lucy Myers as Programming Manager with responsibility for scheduling, acquisitions, on-air presentation and continuity. Myers was formerly Director of Scheduling and Operations for Sony Pictures Television International and Head of Presentation for Channel 5.
