July 4, 2013
Sony Pictures Television has announced the availability of the Crackle app for BlackBerry 10 smartphones on the BlackBerry World storefront.
Crackle is an ad-funded, video entertainment network that offers hundreds of Hollywood movies, television series and originals for free. Content is uncut and unedited, and programmed from several genres, including action, comedy, crime, anime, horror, music, thriller and sci-fi.
Crackle is available in 22 countries, including the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Brazil and other countries in Latin America.
“Mobile entertainment is a very important part of the BlackBerry 10 experience,” said Martyn Mallick, vice president of Global Alliances and Business Development for BlackBerry. “The Crackle application is a great complement to the robust catalogue of television shows and movies on BlackBerry World.”
