Chello expands programming deal with Power

Chello Central Europe has licensed more than 200 hours of first run and library drama from independent UK producer/distributor, Power. The deal comprises of twin packages: movies and mini-series, slated to air on the Film Mania channel in Hungary and on the Film Café channel in Romania and Hungary respectively.
Through this agreement Chello Central Europe will be the exclusive television broadcaster in Romania of the first run mini-series Treasure Island, an adaptation of the seminal pirate tale starring Eddie Izzard, and Elijah Wood and Neverland, the prequel to Peter Pan story starring Rhys Ifans, Anna Friel and Bob Hoskins. Both titles will première on the Film Café channel in Romania.
Chello Central Europe’s TV channels offer award-winning programmes including, The Lion in Winter, Out of the Ashes, and Tin Man, the Emmy award-winning re-imagination of L. Frank Baum’s classic The Wizard of Oz.
