April 30, 2013
From Branislav Pekic in Rome
In view of the upcoming start of the digital switchover process in the Republic of Macedonia, set for June 1st, local telecommunications operator One has started sales of DTT boxes, which can be purchased for MKD 990 (€16).
One was selected on a tender as the network operator of two national multiplexes. Those equipped with the Sagem digital box will be able to watch all national TV channels that are broadcast digitally, i.e. those from public broadcaster MRTV (MRTV 1, MRTV2, MRTV3), commercial broadcasters (currently, Sitel, Kanal 5, Telma, Alfa AND Alsat M), as well as local TV channels that will be introduce in the future.
Users who purchase the One digital receiver will be able, during the promotional period, to watch free of charge all channels in the Boom TV packages for a period of 30 days. After the promotional period, customers can purchase any of the packages (Regional, Family, fun and Package Plus), available at a price of MKD 199.
