According to data presented at the Mediaset AGM, approximately 40,000 to 50,000 new families per month are using the Premium Play on demand offer, for a total that has now reached 1.2 million.
Mediaset president, Fedele Confalonieri, also announced the launch of a new Internet streaming platform by Christmas, providing a comprehensive and ad-hoc selection of content for PCs, tablets and next generation devices. He added that Mediaset is currently the leading operator in the Italian OTT market, with about 1 million videos viewed per day.
