Popcornflix the online digital movie platform that provides free access to over 650 movies, has revealed that the number of Popcornflix downloads on the Roku streaming players in the US have exceeded one million.

“Having passed a million downloads in under a year on Roku really says a lot about the popularity of the channel,” said Gary Delfiner , President of Screen Media Digital, a division of Screen Media Ventures, LLC, parent company of Popcornflix. “Roku offers the best streaming player on the market, and we’re proud to provide access to so many great free films to Roku customers.”

Popcornflix is now also available on Roku in the UK and Canada.
