Tapling appointed CEO of PacketVideo

PacketVideo, a fully-owned subsidiary of NTT DOCOMO, has revealed that Mark Tapling has joined the company as CEO and President. Tapling brings over 20 years of progressive experience in the strategy, growth and financial management of technology companies to his new position at PacketVideo, where he will focus on solidifying the company’s leadership position in the media technology space.
In conjunction with the appointment of Tapling, PacketVideo founder and former CEO James Brailean will leave the company to pursue other interests.
