Levira announces playout contract renewal with Turner Broadcasting
January 10, 2013
Levira, the largest independent provider of TV playout services in the Northern Europe, announced that it has renewed its contract with Turner Broadcasting. Levira will continue offering play-out, opt-out, encoding and distribution services for Turner’s Baltic, Scandinavian and Sub-Saharan channels.
“We are delighted to renew our long-standing co-operation with Turner Brodcasting. It is an important new milestone for Levira and an appreciation of our dedicated work over the last five years. I am convinced that Levira can continually provide Turner with high quality services,“ said Indrek Lepp, Division Director of Levira’s Media Services. “Levira’s playout centre will grow in staff, technology and area in the near future, as the volume of services that we render to different broadcast companies is subject to increase.“
”We have a good and solid collaboration with Levira which we are happy to continue”, said CG Anderson, MD Turner Broadcasting Nordic and Baltic.
Levira has been providing playout services for Turner Broadcasting since 2007, when the new Silver HD channel for the Scandinavian market was launched from Levira’s playout facility.
