Tango expands IPTV with Rovi

Rovi Corporation has announced that Tango, a subsidiary of Belgian telco operator Belgacom, and a leading telco operator in Luxembourg, has expanded its IPTV service with TV listings and VoD data from Rovi Video – a comprehensive collection of metadata on TV, movies and celebrities. The agreement between Rovi and Tango is an extension of a previous agreement with Belgacom for entertainment metadata for its Belgacom TV service on pay-TV, web and mobile platforms.
The entertainment data provided by Rovi enables Tango to enhance their services with deep descriptive information and rich graphics allowing its customers to discover, navigate and search for TV programmes and VoD movies and more than 100 channels.
