Netflix and Warner Bros have confirmed a multi-year licensing agreement allowing Netflix members in the UK and Ireland to exclusively enjoy complete previous seasons of popular US TV television.

The first three seasons of hit teen supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries will be available on Netflix from December 1st, while seasons one through five of young adult drama Gossip Girl begin on March 1st. Later in 2013, four seasons of the J.J. Abrams-created sci-fi show Fringe will be available to watch instantly as will all five seasons of Chuck, the comedy, spy-drama that completed its American run in January.
