Canal Plus scores international football rights

French pay-TV channel Canal Plus has acquired the rights to international football matches of over 29 national teams. The deal includes home fixtures, friendly games and qualifying matches for the 2014 World Cup over 22 dates.
The national squads covered by the rights acquisition are England, Morocco, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Greece, Belarus, Belgium, Turkey, Serbia, Bosnia, Finland, Georgia, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Portugal, Croatia, Lithuania, Italy, Bulgaria Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Northern Ireland, Poland, San Marino, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
