Tribune Media Services (TMS), a provider of entertainment metadata, and SKY Brasil, the largest satellite TV operator in Brazil, have announced a new agreement under which TMS’ best-in-class On Entertainment metadata will be used in the entertainment guides offered by SKY Brasil to its fast-growing subscriber base.
SKY Brasil reaches more than 4 million subscribers, approximately 30 per cent of all pay TV subscribers in Brazil. By providing guides powered by TMS entertainment information, images, TV Showcards and discovery capabilities, SKY Brasil aims to increase consumption of its various programme offerings among existing subscribers and attract new subscribers.
