Traffic Sports International, a rights-holder for several high-profile Brazilian football clubs, has chosen GlobeCast to provide satellite contribution services for delivery of several high-profile Latin American football championships to fans in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. Through the end of 2012, GlobeCast will support distribution of over 150 matches, representing hundreds of hours of programming, for the Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, Copa Kia Do Brasil, Liga Mexicana, and the FA Cup.
GlobeCast is handling satellite turnaround of each match across the Americas via IS-9 and IS-805, in Europe via Eutelsat 10A, and in Asia via Asiasat 5. In addition to content delivery, GlobeCast is providing troubleshooting and backup, as well as standards conversion.
