Curran President of Chellomedia

Liberty Global has revealed that Niall Curran has been appointed as President of its international content company Chellomedia. Curran has been Chellomedia’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2003 and has been instrumental in the division’s considerable growth over the 10 year period; the group is a leading producer and distributor of television channels and a provider of advanced digital services to other international channel operators.
Chellomedia houses 56 channels (37 100 per cent owned and 19 joint ventures), which are produced and distributed through a series of operating companies and business units. The channels collectively have an international footprint of 357 million TV households and delivered $500 million revenue in 2011.
From 1995 to 2000 Curran was with the Walt Disney Company leaving from the position of Executive Vice President Operations for Walt Disney Europe.
