NBCU selects thePlatform

thePlatform, the white-label video publishing company, has signed a new multi-year agreement to serve as the back-end video management system for several of NBCUniversal’s most popular programming networks.
Specifically, USA Network, Syfy, and Oxygen will be the newest programmers within NBCU to use thePlatform’s cloud-based mpx video management system to reach viewers on PCs, tablets, and other IP-connected devices. thePlatform was selected after a rigorous evaluation of online video platforms. Other NBCU programming networks that also currently rely on thePlatform include: E!, NBC Local Media, NBC Sports Regional Networks, Sprout, Style, and the Golf Channel.
