Film1 and MGM pay-TV partnership

Chellomedia’s premium Dutch movie channel Film1 and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios have signed an exclusive agreement on Pay TV and SVOD. The multiyear partnership allows Film1 Pay TV viewers access to MGM’s latest movie releases and the famous Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer library.
As the sole provider in the Netherlands, Film1, Netherlands’ leading film channel bouquet, will offer titles such as The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, 21 Jump Street and Zookeeper. Film1 will also make large segments of the James Bond titles available for Pay TV viewers, including Skyfall,. These and other movies will be shown on Film1’s linear channels and on Film1 On Demand, as part of a Film1 subscription. Film1 subscribers will be able to access the Film1 service on any IP device including the MGM movies.
