May 23, 2012
UPC has unveiled its on-demand TV service for Ireland, offering catch-up television for free. Customers of the digital TV provider will be able to watch programmes that have been broadcast on Irish channels on demand, as well as more than 1,300 hours of archived programming from the UK and US for free. Movies will also be available to rent through the service, priced from €2 to €5.
The service will be available to one-third of all homes in Dublin from Friday and rolled out across the rest of the country throughout the summer.
