Mediaset Premium Play on iPad

Italian commercial broadcaster Mediaset has extended its on demand subscription TV service, Premium Play, on the iPad, initially available on Wi-Fi and later also for 3G.
The application can be downloaded for free from the App Store and will permit access to live TV content, as well as to library and on demand material.
Premium Play was previously available on TV sets with Premium decoders, PCs and the Xbox 360.
Looking ahead, Mediaset is already thinking of combining the service with the Playstation 3 and Wii platforms, as well as launching an Android version.
Existing Premium clients can use the service, free of charge, until 2013, while all others, after registering, will be able to receive 15 days of free viewing.
Premium Play offers over 2,000 TV on-demand content: hundreds of movies (800 in total by the summer), 300 episodes of TV series, cartoons and documentaries, a selection of the best programs from Mediaset channels in the past seven days, plus live Seria A football on Premium Calcio.
