SeaChange confirms Rau CEO

SeaChange, the global multi-screen video software company, has confirmed that Raghu Rau has been appointed permanent Chief Executive Officer effective immediately.
First appointed interim CEO of SeaChange in November 2011, Rau has led an aggressive strategy to focus the Company on its core software business, delivering software solutions for video service providers globally in cable, IPTV, and mobile while reducing the overall cost structure of the company. Rau will also retain his seat on the Company’s Board of Directors.
Rau joined the SeaChange Board of Directors in July 2010. He previously held a number of senior leadership positions at Motorola and served on the Board of Directors of Microtune, which was then acquired by Zoran Corporation. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Aviat Networks, a specialist in wireless transmission systems.
