Kupsky to leave TBS

Jeff Kupsky is standing down from his president/EMEA role at Turner Broadcasting System, after some 31 years with the broadcasting giant.
Reports suggest that his decision to retire pre-dated the appointment of former RTL CEO Gerhard Zeiler to president of TBS International last month.
Kupsky has been with TBS since 1981, and has been president (based in London) since 2007, taking over from Phil Kent who had been promoted to be chairman and CEO of TBS in Atlanta. Kent said: “There’s no channel, acquisition or progression of Turner’s business in EMEA that Jeff has not been directly involved with. He has been consistent in his business acumen, negotiations and calm demeanour, and he leaves Turner with our gratitude and respect.”
