Jean-Yves Le Gall, CEO at Arianespace, speaking in Dubai, says that his company’s revenues this year will exceed €1 billion ($1.3bn) and it is likely to launch 10-12 satellites during the year.
“Globally, I think demand will not increase so much but there is a move in the areas of demand,” Le Gall said. “We are moving from a situation where demand was spread equally in the Americas, Europe, Mid-East/Africa and Asia to demand that is moving more towards Middle East and Asia.”
He added that Arianespace expected to pick up one or two orders for launching new satellites this year from the Middle East.
