ProSiebenSat.1 expands pay-TV portfolio
March 1, 2012
The ProSiebenSat.1 Group will expand its pay-TV portfolio this May.
As the first such transfer of its kind, it will create a pay-TV channel modelled after the strongest German TV brand: Germany’s most successful family of TV stations will launch ProSieben FUN, featuring a fresh, varied selection of programmes. The pay-TV spin-off of SAT.1 will be rooted in the parent brand, as SAT.1 emotions will be derived from Sat.1 Comedy. The new channel will offer modern entertainment, filled with emotion. The Group’s third pay-TV channel, kabel eins CLASSICS, will continue to offer movies and TV series from all times and genres.
ProSieben FUN will be available for subscription from the pay-TV service of Telekom Deutschland. kabel eins CLASSICS and SAT.1 emotions will still be available for subscription from the pay-TV services that currently offer them.
