Since January 1st, 2012, Stefan Philipps, 47, is DEV Systemtechnik’s Area Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He succeeds Harald Busold, who left the company. Philipps reports to Rainer Lorger, Head of Sales and Marketing.

After a vocational training to become an electrician, Philipps studied Electrical Engineering and started his professional career as a construction manager in facility planning offices. Later on he changed to the German IT distributor Adiva, Bad Homburg, as a consultant, sales representative and product manager for computer and networking technology. Before joining DEV, he helped US networking companies at Titan Commerce to enter the German market.

“DEV offers the chance to combine my business development experience with my know-how as an Electrical Engineer”, Philipps comments. “The combination of his technical and sales expertise ensures that he will recommend the best problem solution to customers and prospects”, adds Rainer Lorger.
