Spanish ISP Jazztel is launching what it claims to be the first OTT TV service through Jazzbox with on demand content, including HD programming and live TV streaming from pay-TV operator Prisa TV, owner of DTH platform Canal Plus.
For an additional monthly fee of €10.95, Jazztel and Prisa TV customers are able to access the Canal Plus Yomvi services via the Jazzbox platform, which includes Canal Plus 1 and a subscription VOD service.
The Jazzbox, which is an IP set-top box, comes pre-integrated with Nagra’s DRM solution and Nagra Media Persistent Rights Management (PRM) and is powered by Nagra’s Open TV middleware.
