Sky 3D content on Nintendo 3DS
October 14, 2011
The first Sky 3D content has arrived on the Nintendo 3DS, in the form of a trailer – giving users their first glimpse at Sky’s 3D content on their glasses-free handheld. The one minute video is to promote Sky’s new wildlife show, Meerkats 3D, which debuts on Sky 3D this week.
A 3D content deal between Sky and Nintendo was announced back in January, but the trailer marks the first fruit of the partnership.
The documentary clip is accompanied by a new 3D video of magic tricks too. Nintendo have also lined up deals with animation studio Aardman for clips from Shaun The Sheep 3D, as well as sporting content from EuroSport.
