HBO Central Europe appoints Root

HBO Central Europe has appointed Antony Root as Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Production at HBO Central Europe, reporting to Chief Executive Linda Jensen. He will be responsible for drama, documentary and entertainment programming produced by HBO Central Europe.
A senior production executive with wide international experience in the US and Europe, Root has held senior management posts at leading industry organisations, including; SVP of European Production at Sony Pictures Television and President of Granada Entertainment USA, as well as positions at Granada TV, Thames Television and Working Title Television.
