Kabel-D adds HD, ups pricing

German cable giant Kabel Deutschland has confirmed it will be adding eight new HDTV channels. Six will go live on October 5 (Pro7 HD, Sat1-HD, kabel eins HD, Sixx HD, and Servus HD).Two other channels will then be added in December. K-D says that by year-end it will be offering 26 HD channels.
With the new HD channels in place K-D will then increase its basic access package from €17.90 per month, by €1 a month.
