September 7, 2011
Kabelkiosk is launching an HbbTV interactive service ‘interaktiv’ on Eutelsat. The ‘headend in the sky’ platform offer will include VoD, catch-up TV, and local information with VoD services delivered on a platform operated by Rovi.
Individual channels delivered by KabelKiosk will also be able to use interaktiv for catch-up TV, VoD, EPG services and red button applications for multiple value added services. A full working prototype system will be displayed live at IBC using an HbbTV set-top.
