Korea closer to all HD goal with Ericsson

SkyLife, the Korean satellite broadcaster, has deployed an Ericsson video processing solution that enables it to enhance its HD offering and move another step closer to realising its vision of everything in HD by 2015. Ericsson’s award-winning HD solution allows SkyLife to potentially deliver over 150 HD channels to more than 3 million subscribers.
SkyLife has selected a system comprised of the Ericsson Video Processor with the world class EN8190 MPEG-4 AVC HD encoder modules, Ericsson MX8400 System Multiplexer and the Ericsson RX1290 Multi-format SD/HD professional receiver, all under the management of Ericsson’s nCompass Control.
