Multimedia Polska adds channels, revenues up

Multimedia Polska, Poland’s third largest cable operator has expanded its cable-TV offer with three channels from Polish satellite operator Polsat. Polsat Sport, Polsat News and Polsat channels are now available to Multimedia Polska analogue TV subscribers. Nine channels from Polsat were introduced for digital TV subscribers earlier this year.
Meanwhile, the cableco has reported that it ended 2010 with 740,000 TV subscribers, with over 141,700 of those receiving its digital cable or IPTV services. Revenues from the TV sector hit €70 million, up 6 per cent compared to 2009.
