Deutsche Telekom: 1.6m IPTV, up 81%

In a disappointing set of results reporting a €582 million fourth-quarter loss following a €1.3 billion writedown on impairments in Romania and Greece, Deutsche Telekom revealed it ended 2010 with a total of 1.6 million customers for its IPTV platform Entertain, a growth of 81 per cent compared with 2009.
DT said it was aiming for 2.5 million subscribers by the end 2012 and five million by 2015, driven by its Bundesliga deal and HD.
