SeaChange powers Polish VOD
February 24, 2011
Western Poland’s largest telecom operator is now live to subscribers with its Wypoz˙yczalnia Filmów VOD service, which is built upon a comprehensive solution from SeaChange|eventIS, the multi-screen video software company. Available commercially since the end of 2010, INEA’s VOD service is running on the open converged Service Delivery Platform (cSDP) from SeaChange|eventIS, which also served as systems integrator on the project.
With the launch of INEA’s Wypoz˙yczalnia Filmów service, SeaChange|eventIS is now the platform provider for four VOD services across Poland. The launch also signifies SeaChange|eventIS’ continued market traction throughout the region, where it has already turned on VOD services in Slovenia and Hungary.
“SeaChange|eventIS offered the combination of technology flexibility and systems integration expertise that INEA felt was critical to building a platform that can meet our current needs and scale in concert with expanding requirements,” said Janusz Kosinski, president, INEA. “We successfully rolled out our VOD service within the preset timeline and have enjoyed extremely positive customer feedback since its introduction.”
