Shanghai reports 1.3m IPTV subs

Shanghai now has over 1.3 million IPTV subscribers, according to local media group Radio and Television Shanghai.
Zhang Jian, an official at BesTV, a subsidiary of Radio and Television Shanghai, commented that the development of IPTV has facilitated China’s ongoing efforts towards the establishment of digital TV in the country, and the future of next-generation broadcasting.
