Canal Plus adds subs

French pay TV provider Canal Plus had revenues of €3.364 billion for the nine months to the end of September, up 2.9 per cent year-on-year, on the back of a rising ad market and adding 248,000 net subs in the home market.
EBITA was €760 million, up from €754 million a year earlier. Parent company Vivendi posted revenues of €20.869 billion for the nine months, up 6.9 per cent year-on-year. EBITA was €4.67 billion, up 10 per cent.
