Cable Europe appoints new MD

Cable Europe has confirmed the appointment of Peter Percosan, as Managing Director to oversee the pan-European operation of Cable Europe Labs (CEL). The position will have direct management responsibility for the technology development and coordination throughout CEL.
Percosan will succeed Malcolm Taylor who successfully served the association for many years, and who will remain as a senior adviser to CEL with a special focus on its certification activities.
Percosan already served Cable Europe Labs as adviser in 2009 and Chief Technology Officer for the past 15 months. Before that he served as Executive Director of Broadband Strategy for Texas Instrument’s Digital Connected Home Business where he provided strategic direction to the company’s cable product portfolio.
