Aksh Optifibre to invest in IPTV

Indian IPTV provider Aksh Optifibre Limited said it is planning to invest Rs 150 crore in the IPTV business over the next three years.
“We have already invested Rs 150 crore (E23m) in this business so far. In the next three years we will invest another Rs 150 crore to ramp up our business,” said Dr K.S. Choudhari, managing director. Aksh Optifibre and MTNL’s IPTV service iControl, which has a subscriber base of over 30,000, also announced plans to strengthen their operations in Delhi. iControl expands its partner ecosystem by bringing onboard channel partners.
Currently, the service is available in Delhi, Mumbai and also the cities of Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
