Exterity enhances Race to Dubai with IPTV system
January 27, 2010
Exterity, the IPTV specialist, has revealed that its IPTV solution has been adopted by The European Tour to distribute High Definition content at the majority of events on The 2010 Race to Dubai golfing event on The European Tour international schedule.
The bespoke, real-time production system combines live information from broadcasters, pre-recorded material and highlights with real time graphics and scores updated from the event results system. The signal is then distributed over a fibre network, which enhances image quality on each of the 100 HD TVs and large format video screens installed in key areas around each golf course, but also makes content easier to manage.
