Czech TV broadcasts HDTV with Media Broadcast

From August 31st, Czech Television, the public TV broadcaster in the Czech Republic, will broadcast its HDTV channel via T-Systems Czech Republic and Media Broadcast’s HDTV satellite services. As part of a bidding consortium, Media Broadcast sends the programme signal to the Usingen teleport close to Frankfurt, Germany. From the teleport, the programme will be distributed via the ASTRA satellite platform at 23.5°E.
