Sky.com shuts sites
August 24, 2009
Sky.com is to close a number of its sites, including its dating, careers and teen channels, following a review of its online business.
The move, which Sky has described as "rationalising", will see the closure of seven sites in total, which it claims account for less than half a percent of total page impressions across the entire portfolio.
The axed sites – money & property, dating, careers, stars, life & style, MyKindaPlace and Monkeyslum – account for 0.25% of inventory on Sky.com.
