TalkTalk drops Phorm

Carphone Warehouse's TalkTalk broadband service has dropped Phorm leaving the targeted advertising group's prospects for a UK launch looking increasingly unlikely. BT confirmed earlier that it had no "imminent plans" to launch Phorm's Webwise service to its broadband customers.
Virgin Media has said it remains interested in offering such a service but has not performed trials of Phorm's technology and is also talking to rival providers of behavioural targeting.
