LG Dacom 100k IPTV subs
May 22, 2009
Korean telco LG Dacom reached 100,000 subscribers for its IPTV service ‘myLGtv’ – up from 12,000 at the end of January of this year. LG Dacom has said that it will now aggressively market the service to its 2.3 million broadband subscribers.
Competition is fierce in the Korean IPTV market, with rival SK Broadband currently on around 780,000 customers for its IPTV service ‘Broad&tv’, and dominant telco KT on 800,000 subscribers for its ‘Mega TV’ service.
