SIDSA full DVB-SH
February 19, 2009
Semiconductor company SIDSA, is now demonstrating what it claims is the first implementation of the full DVB-SH standard, including the TDM waveform specially suited for direct satellite reception.
The demonstration is being carried out using a modulator of the French company TeamCast and SIDSA's demodulator, supporting DVB-T, DVB-H, DVB-SH OFDM and DVB-SH TDM. SIDSA has also announced the launch of a chipset with the complete DVB-SH standard during 2009 as the company hopes that the market massively takes off in 2010. The multi-standard chipset will deliver video streams at IP level through Ethernet, SDIO and SPI interfaces.
