Dolby Laboratories has released details of Dolby Media Generator, a preprocessing and encoding solution for mobile multimedia content. Dolby is demonstrating at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona how Dolby Media Generator will complement Dolby Mobile. Together, they will offer a dual-ended solution to enhance mobile entertainment delivered over the air to mobile phones.

Aimed at service providers and content distributors, Dolby Media Generator, a batch processing software tool, will enable the ingestion and management of content files for delivery over mobile networks.
