February 2, 2009
Channel 4 has implemented a pay freeze for all staff for this year. The decision to freeze all staff pay was made in November and before weekend revelations that 91 staff at the company earn more than £100,000 (E111,000) per year. Channel 4 told staff at the time of the freeze, though a formal external announcement was not made.
