NAB
show organisers say the event has evolved from Broadcasting to
Broader-casting over the last eight decades.
For 2008, Las Vegas will welcome more than 200 new exhibitors to this
year's event.
More than 1,600 companies will exhibit, including representatives from
40 countries and across 19 industries such as cable, content owners/programmers,
film and entertainment, enterprise, social media, telecom, wireless
and more.
The NAB Show's extensive conference programming includes special pavilions
dedicated to industry growth areas such as IPTV and mobile platforms
as well international audiences. In addition, the NAB Show's newly expanded
Content Central section will provide a first-hand look at the convergence
of content and new technologies. Content Central will include pavilions
specific to content commerce, content distribution and IPTV, as well
as a state-of-the-art theatre dedicated to showing innovative content
and technologies.
