How to use the Advanced Television Directory
YOUR ENTRY is free and is as accurate and comprehensive as you wish to make it. Once you have registered you will be able to add your company's record if it is not in the directory, or amend the details which are there. You can do this again at any time, for instance if your company moves or phone numbers change. Don't forget to also fill out the Product and Service form attached to your entry that will instantly link your company to those search criteria. So when anyone searches those categories your company will appear in the list of suppliers.In order to ADD your company to the Directory:
1. Enter your company name in the Company field of the search engine.
2. If there is no match click ADD at the top of the screen.
3. Chose to LOG IN if you have already registered or REGISTER if you have not.
4. Once you have logged in or registered you will be presented with a screen of fields where you can enter your company's details, personnel contact details and choose all the categories and sub categories that apply to your company's Products and Services. When you have finished scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Verify.
5. You should see the message Record Successfully Added and the record as it will be displayed in a search is shown.SECURITY
No one wants third parties to be able to alter their record, so only one password per record is authorised to change it. If someonelse from your company tries to amend the record they will be informed a record administrator already exists. If they wish to make changes we offer the facility for them to 'blind' email you, i.e. they will not be able to see your email address. Of course you can change the password and person responsible for the record at any time.In order to UPDATE your company's record:
1. Search for your company name, select the record you wish to update and click VERIFY.
2. If the record has been updated since its creation it will now be password-protected. Log in and make any changes, then click VERIFY once again.
3. The first person to update the record becomes its administrator. If the administrator is unknown or no longer works for your company, please email Nik for assistance: nik@advanced-television.com
